To all our parents,

At St Catherine's we deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that considers the whole child so that they grow emotionally, mentally, physically and socially, setting them up for long-term successes in life, not just the classroom. We know when a child feels safe, secure and supported, they can engage and be challenged so that they develop a life-long love of learning and achieve their full potential.

St Catherine's Curriculum has been developed to meet the needs of all children. Each year, children build their knowledge and skills, applying these together to show a secure and deepened understanding.

Our subject leaders are knowledgeable and passionate about the subjects they lead. They ensure teachers are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver a robust and creative curriculum. Across all subjects, leaders ensure that children receive enrichment opportunities through educational visits, listening to speakers and first-hand experiences.

Please look at our subjects in further detail below. Here you will find information on how subjects are taught and long-term plans and overviews.
